Webinar 'Save the Gonads'
SCOVE X WSAVA RCC

This webinar was a collaboration with The Reproduction Control Committee (RCC) of World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) who works to raise standards of veterinary knowledge and competence in reproduction management globally by creating educational resources. 

 

The RCC has just published new WSAVA Reproduction Control Guidelines to help vets make scientific decisions for population control while safeguarding animal welfare. SCOVE believes all vet students should assimilate this new scientific development.

We hosted 5 expert speakers who shared insights on ethical considerations of reproduction control, health benefits and detriments of gonadectomy, and gonad sparing surgery and non-surgical methods. The event took place on 24th of August, 2024.
