WSAVA Essentials of Dermatology
The Global Veterinary Dermatology Education Group (GVDEG) with the indispensable support of WSAVA brings to you some new courses about the Essentials of Canine and Feline Dermatology. The overarching goal of the course is to provide the attendees with the necessary knowledge to effectively diagnose and manage common dermatological diseases of dogs and cats.
A Case a Week
This website provides a selection of 25 challenging cases and more, to brainstorm and practice diagnostic skills and treatment plans, based on clinical history, examination and general blood tests. A detailed solution is presented with each case and a comment section for viewers to post their opinion on the differential diagnosis or treatment strategy and allows a general discussion over the case. A new case is presented every week. Experienced vets often comment on the cases and their opinions are useful to the student. On the bottom right-hand side are a list of links to useful specialist field websites, for instance, dermatology/ radiology/cardiovascular cases etc.
Neuroanatomy of the Dog
You will find a description of the nervous system, an MRI atlas of the dog's brain, and the basic principles of MRI.
Each chapter consists of a text and a series of images that you can visualize by clicking on top. The images follow a specific order. So, by clicking on the first image, you can follow the series just by clicking on the arrow located on each side. You can change chapter by clicking on the green arrow located at the bottom.
A series of videos from dissections of the nervous system are included in most of the chapters. This is to give a better approach to some of the topics previously described.

Maddie's Fund Education is a program of Maddie's Fund, the nation's leading funder of shelter medicine education. Maddie's Fund's Youtube channel hosts various educational videos for those who are interested in understanding this new field of medicine with the veterinary world!

The Merck Veterinary Manual is one of the most famous veterinary encyclopedia in the world. Here the student/vet can search everything related to veterinary medicine, as for example:
1) Veterinary Encyclopedia (Medicine, Surgery, Pharmacology etc)
2) Atlas of Symptomatology (a helper to diagnose easy a disease)
3)Multimedia (Drawings, Photos, Videos, Audio, Cytology smears, Histopathology sections etc).
AAHA Guidelines
Developed by experts in the profession, the AAHA guidelines help veterinary professionals face the demands of a continually shifting industry. The guidelines offer resources for client communication, technician utilization, and easy-to-use algorithms and calculators to assist in clinical diagnosis and treatment of common and less common conditions in dogs and cats.

This website is a site whereby veterinary students get to have an interactive approach in learning veterinary anatomy. This website also provides coursewares which can be used on smartphones and tablets - the new best friend of almost every veterinary students nowadays. The main attraction of this website would be its interactive quizzes that can test your understanding of the anatomy of animals, with real pictures of cadavers. Additional information for students in their clinical years is also available on this website, whereby neurology is more emphasised here.
WikiVet
This website is designed to be a diverse learning platform, concerning most aspects of veterinary medicine. The website includes detailed descriptions of the anatomy and physiology of all species and highlights the main species differences. There are drag and drop quizzes at the end of each topic to test your knowledge. It is designed for more preclinical students.
Illinois Imaging Anatomy
Imaging Anatomy website is a basic atlas of normal imaging anatomy of domestic animals established in the College of Veterinary Medicine of Illinois (USA). The user can play with the interactive images and understand the normal structure of the body of all domestic animals as shown in x-rays.
Neuroanatomy and Neurology
Dr de Lahunta and Cornell University have organised video clips on presentations of different clinical cases of neuropathology. The anatomic diagnosis and clinical diagnosis are available on this website, the basis for the anatomic diagnosis and the discussion of the differential diagnosis is discussed.

IVALA Learn is a website dedicated to providing 3D images of small and large animal anatomy. All images are clearly labelled and simple to work with. It is a great resource for all years as it focuses on clinical relevance throughout the learning experience. There are many quizzes to test your understanding.
